The Grinder — Recent jobs reports may be gloomy to some, but to others business could not be any better. “I was working before at this store and hated my boss, but then it went bankrupt so I changed positions. Now I get many phone calls a day; business is great!”, says Jose Mendez, who works at the corner of Main St. and Elm holding up going out of business signs for local stores. Jose adds “Sometimes it’s hard to find the Q stencil at the hardware store. I guess they weren’t prepared for needing so many stencils for the word ‘liquidation’. Other than that I can’t complain. Jose’s town isn’t the only one seeing job growth in the sign holding industry, cities all across the nation are reporting similar job opportunities.
