Depiction of similar event
Perhaps you haven’t heard the story mentioned in the title. Apparently just that happened, because the Obama campaign felt it would make him look bad to have two Muslim women sitting behind him. I saw a discussion about this on a left-wing blog. All of the commenters on there said nary a word about how sleazy that looks, instead what did they do? Well it was the “right-wing” media of course. Yes folks, the media is so hostile towards Obama that a campaign staffer felt they had to remove the ladies for fear of retribution. What absolute hogwash. Here is the comment I left on that blog:
“So let me get this straight… an Obama staffer asked two Muslim women to move because it would “look” bad, and somehow instead of chastising the campaign staff for what I would perceive as prejudiced, you all are blaming the right wing media. Spare me.
Could somebody please tell me what the “right-wing” media is?
In the Blue corner we have: NBC, ABC and CBS nightly news, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, PBS, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, The Seattle Intelligencer, The Los Angeles Times, The Tribune, Baltimore Sun and every other major newspaper, Late Night Talk Shows, The Daily Show, Hollywood, Hollywood movies, the music industry, University professors, Lawyers, teacher unions, Newsweek, Time, The Nation, the two biggest blogs: Huffington Post and Daily Kos etc… All of which are in the tank for Obama.
In the red corner: FNC, the Washington Times, and most of talk radio.
Whoa, stop the presses! Obama doesn’t stand a chance of getting a fair break. Get real.
If Obama is afraid of the “right wing” media, then he won’t stand a chance against real enemies like Chavez, Medev, Ahmedinejad, UBL, Zawahiri, Castro, Kim Jong Il et al.
It truly baffles me how when looking through this blog just about every talking point is regurgitating anti-capitalist doctrine that the Soviets used against us in their influence and active measure campaigns: The USA is racist, imperialist, and hell-bent on world domination through exploiting the world’s poor, to name a few. Do any of you people ever take America’s side or is that too gauche?
I tell you what though, had it been two Muslim women standing behind John McCain they would have been welcomed, because it signals that the GOP is inclusionary… I guess perhaps the Democrats aren’t as friendly to other ethnicities and religions as I had thought. Then again, I am not surprised, The Democratic Party was the pro-slavery party after all.

p.s. I was stop-lossed too, and you don’t see me sniveling about it trying to make money. To all the vets out there who have jumped on this anti-american bandwagon, I knew your type while serving, you guys were nothing but whiners and blame shifters who just couldn’t hack it. Most of you are hiding behind whatever short tour you did in the service to get credibility. Just like John Kerry, who wrote his own recommendation for medals and asked to be sent home after 3 months in Vietnam, you guys all signed on the dotted line. Nobody put a gun to your head. If you want to look at a real Navy hero look at Kennedy, George H. W. Bush and of course John McCain. He had the option to go home early after being beaten near death but he stayed because he knew it would be propaganda fuel used against him. Kerry would have never/never done that.”
